Where did your journey begin?
My journey began at Dennison in 2016, when me and my Dad came across Mr H on the street and he invited me to come to Dennsion as a member. I was also taken into Joe's program in 2017 and stayed in the program until I aged out.Â
What does your role here look like?
My role here is to be a counselor with the kids and be a mentor. The other half of time I am maintaining the website and updating our media presence here at Dennison.Â
What's your favorite part of the job?
My favorite part of the job is connecting with the kids and really understanding all of their stories. When ever someone new comes through the doors of Dennison I love greeting them and connection with them immediately.Â
How do you see the center's impact on the community?
Dennison impact on the community helps thousands of kids. Every year a new kid is taking in by a loving family of staff here, and provided for. It is just the passion that runs through us.Â
